Can't we Stop

Can't we stop the fighting
Must this bickering always finds it's place between us

Can't we halt this anger
Kick it to the curb and emerge in peace instead of in pieces

Can't there be some conscious effort
to restore the bonds broken between us and the treasured life that we're about to loose

Can't we stop while we're ahead
Or must this ever remain the same playing into the evil workings of fate

I guess these just remain questions
Things that will never come to find their resolution
And in our life's story we will remain un victorious and still laying in the dust of time
eventually the world will bore with our antics we will no longer be the hottest thing
So why must we continue living as the thieves of each others dreams
Maybe it's just out of bad habit deriving this from what was displayed for us
But i was so confident that we could do far greater things, accomplish what was set aside for us to conquer.

Can't we find the exit on this ride in hell
Or must we ever remain under this evil spell.
